Originally conceived as an educational tool, the cube quickly evolved into a pop culture phenomenon, captivating minds of all ages with its colorful complexity and satisfying click. It sparked fascination and friendly competition, becoming a symbol of intellectual curiosity and problem-solving.
Beyond its educational value, the cube is also a marvel of design and kinetic art, with its rotating layers and vibrant patterns showcasing both creativity and mathematical precision.
The right perspective makes the impossible possible.
Fabrizio Paoletti has always been fascinated by the Cube and its power to ignite inventive and creative ideas, that’s why he couldn’t resist the desire to create a guitar just as much thought and emotion-provoking.
The Rubik’s Cube® playfulness and eclectic nature inspired our latest challenge: a fully functioning 50th Anniversary Cube Guitar, recreating the cube’s colorful geometric shapes and mesmerizing allure.
The guitar body is carved from our signature aged chestnut wood and features a unique hexagonal shape, displaying three faces of the Rubik’s Cube® – those reflecting the Italian flag colors: green on the left, white on top, and red on the right side. On the Canadian roasted maple neck and fretboard, you’ll find small, playful cube-like inlays made from olive wood.
