Spiderman® è stato alla Paoletti Guitars!
Mattia Villardita, ormai conosciuto da tutti come “Spiderman®”, è un ragazzo che ha deciso di dedicare la sua vita ai bambini affetti da malattie.
Nel tempo libero Mattia veste i panni del suo supereroe preferito per recarsi negli ospedali oncologici-pediatrici di tutta Italia.
A causa di patologie congenite, da bambino ha passato anche lui molto tempo in ospedale, così è nata l’idea di alleviare quest’esperienza traumatica nei ricordi dei bambini, in modo che non possano mai dimenticare quella volta che il loro Spider eroe è andato a trovarli!
Ogni dettaglio della sua visita è studiato per emozionare i bambini, dinanzi agli occhi increduli e appassionati dei suoi piccoli fan, e Mattia ci mette davvero il massimo impegno! “Quando la situazione lo consente entro dalla finestra, piuttosto che dalla porta”.
Questa attività è stata notata dal Presidente Mattarella, che nel 2020 lo ha nominato Cavaliere al Merito della Repubblica Italiana.
Ora tutti lo conoscono, ma lui continua semplicemente a fare ciò che ama e in cui crede nel profondo, raccontando sui suoi canali social le storie d’amore, speranza e volontariato che vive.
Non si considera un eroe, ma quando fa visita a loro – i veri eroi – regala un sorriso e un po’ di colore a tutto l’ospedale.
E oggi, Spider-Mattia è qui da noi per una consegna speciale.
La Paoletti Guitars offre la sua collaborazione per l’impresa di Mattia: abbiamo realizzato per lui una dei nostri modelli Nancy, da far suonare ai musicoterapeuti durante le sue visite in ospedale. Questo prodotto è ovviamente a tema Spider, ed è unico al mondo!
Nel pomeriggio andremo con lui a provarla alla clinica Santa Rita di Prato – Non perderti Spiderman® all’opera!
Questo è solo l’inizio, perché ora che Mattia ha la sua chitarra, il nostro prossimo obiettivo è realizzare altre chitarre a tema: il ricavato sarà completamente devoluto in beneficienza per sostenere attività di volontariato negli ospedali pediatrici del territorio.
Da un grande potere, derivano grandi responsabilità.

Spiderman® was at Paoletti Guitars’!
Mattia Villardita, aka the “Italian Spiderman”, is a volunteer committed to dedicate his life to children suffering from illnesses.
In his free time, Mattia shows up in oncological-pediatric hospitals all around Italy dresses-up like his favorite superhero, to the amazement of his incredulous and passionate little fans.
Due to an inborn pathology, Mattia was once a child spending a significant amount of time at the hospital too. That’s why he decided to eases the hospital experience in the children’s memories – so they will never forget the time their Spider-hero came to visit them!
Mattia really puts utmost effort into it! “When I am allowed, I get in the room through the window, rather than the door!” he says.
His efforts were noticed by President Mattarella, who appointed him Knight of the Italian Republic for merit in 2020.
Now Mattia is famous, but he keeps doing what he loves and deeply believes in – sharing stories of love, hope and volunteering on his social channels.
He doesn’t consider himself a hero, but when he visits them – the true heroes – he brightens the whole hospital.
Today, Spider-Mattia is here with us for a special delivery.
Paoletti Guitars offers its collaboration for Mattia’s mission: we created one of our Nancy models for the music therapists to play during his hospital visits. This product is obviously SM-themed, and is unique in the world!
In the afternoon we will follow him, showing it at Santa Rita clinic, in Prato – Stay Tuned!
This is just the beginning, because now that Mattia has his guitar, our next goal is to create other SM-themed guitars – all profits will be devolved to support volunteering activities in hospital for children affected by illnesses.
With great power, comes great responsibility.
